1. Acceptance of these Terms
Fundblogger is operated by Medicto Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom ("Medicto", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing fundblogger.com, submitting a fund video, or joining our investor list, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. What Fundblogger Does
Fundblogger is a marketing and video distribution platform. Fund managers submit a short, self-filmed video answering a standard set of questions about their fund. We review submissions, and where accepted, publish the video across our own channels and share it with investors on our distribution list.
Fundblogger is not an investment adviser, broker-dealer, placement agent, or fund. We do not solicit, recommend, or arrange investments, and we are not regulated by the FCA or any other financial services authority. Nothing we publish is investment advice.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally authorised to represent the fund or firm on whose behalf you submit a video. By submitting, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the authority to share it publicly.
4. Submitting a Video
- Submission is free. We do not charge fees, take equity, or take a share of any capital raised as a result of your video.
- You retain ownership of your video. By submitting, you grant Medicto Ltd a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, edit for length or format, publish, and distribute the video across our website and social channels, and to share it with our investor list, for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the platform.
- We may decline, remove, or request edits to any submission at our discretion, including where content appears inaccurate, misleading, or non-compliant with applicable financial promotion rules.
- You are solely responsible for ensuring your video and any statements in it comply with applicable law, including financial promotion and marketing regulations in your jurisdiction.
5. No Guarantee of Outcomes
Publishing a video does not guarantee investor interest, meetings, or allocations. Fundblogger makes no representation about the likelihood of any outcome from participating.
6. The Investor List
Investors who join our list do so voluntarily and free of charge. We share newly published fund videos with the list; we do not vet, endorse, or verify the funds featured, and investors are responsible for conducting their own due diligence before making any decision.
7. Third-Party Platforms
We distribute videos via third-party platforms including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X. Your use of those platforms, and any content we publish there, is also subject to their respective terms and policies, which are outside our control.
8. Intellectual Property
The Fundblogger name, logo, and site design are the property of Medicto Ltd. You may not use them without our prior written permission.
9. Disclaimers
The platform and all content on it are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any fund video or the claims made within it. Nothing on this site constitutes an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any security or fund interest.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Medicto Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform, including any investment decision made on the basis of a video we have published.
11. Termination
We may suspend or remove access to the platform, or take down any submitted content, at any time and without notice, including where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
